Great wine begins with great land!  Eden Dale traces its roots back over a century to the late 1800s when the first commercial plantings of fruit trees and grapevines began on the land that came to be known as the Eden Dale ranch.  Crafted from a blend of our estate grapes from exceptional sites, it is a natural expression of the best of the Sonoma Coast appellation.  Dense coastal fog and cool marine air ebb and flow through the Petaluma Gap, moderating the summer heat and serving up misty mornings and sunny afternoons. Eden Dale is a signature wine that is ripe and delicious with perfectly balanced acidity.

The connection between Eden Dale and Sangiacomo is rooted in a shared legacy of farming, family, and dedication to the land. Eden Dale represents the origins of the Sangiacomo family’s farming journey, beginning with the purchase of the Eden Dale farmstead in 1927 by Vittorio and Maria Sangiacomo. This historic property, which they cultivated with fruit orchards, became the foundation of the family’s agricultural success and eventual transition to grape growing in the 1960s.

Today, Eden Dale embodies both a tribute to this cherished land and an extension of the Sangiacomo family’s commitment to crafting exceptional wines.
